Threat Intelligence Information Sharing; You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know
Program Manager, National Cyber-Forensics & Training Alliance (NCFTA)
In a highly connected cyber-criminal world, addressing cyber threats is no easy task, especially when the deck is stacked against you. Industry and government cannot operate in a vacuum and expect to be successful in their effort to identify, mitigate, and neutralize cyber threats. Through the sharing of cross-sector threat information we can collectively bridge the gap between what we know and what we don’t know while making each other more resilient and ultimately neutralize significant cyber threats. This session will begin with an overview of the NCFTA information sharing model and include a discussion on trending cyber threats to financial institutions and private industry, as well as a sampling of threat intelligence sharing successes.
