Steve Rice, EVP & Oregon Region Manager, UMPQUA BANK
Stu Richards, CEO, BREDIN

According to the Pew Research Center, roughly 10,000 Baby Boomers will retire each day for the next 19 years. Who will replace the business owners among them? Millennials, defined as individuals born from roughly 1980 to 2000. With the leading edge of Millennials entering their mid-30s, this generation - larger than the Baby Boom generation - is well into their business-formation years, and will represent an increasing share of business owners - and your customers - in the years to come.

In this fast-paced and informative session, Bredin CEO Stu Richards will present new and original research on the challenges and opportunities face in doing business with Millennials. The research will discuss their brand allegiances, capital requirements, perceptions of traditional banks, and engagement and banking channel preferences. He will be joined by Steve Rice, EVP and Director of SBA Lending at Umpqua Bank, who will discuss how Umpqua is evolving its marketing, sales, product, store and channel to capitalize on the Millennial opportunity
