Leadership needs data as much as data needs leadership. The technology & tools of data are only as good as the skills and processes that drive the inputs, processing, output and ultimately application to decision making. So in order to derive the most value of the data & corresponding trends (MDM, Big Data, Predictive Analytics), one has to model the ecosystem and build a long term approach that adapts to the changing customer preferences, privacy & regulatory developments, and technology maturity besides other factors.
