INNOVATION IN DATA SOURCES & USES THAT EMPOWER P2P

Moderator: Larry Walker, Managing Director, KPMG LLP
Elizabeth Braman, Chief Production Officer, REALTY MOGUL
Advisory Board: Noah Breslow, Chief Executive Officer, ONDECK
Beverly Regan, Manager, Market Planning for Credit Risk Decisioning, LEXISNEXIS

The crowd isn’t the only thing powering marketplace lenders.  They are also fueled by data.  Whether building custom-scores leveraging non-traditional data sources, or opening application data via API to the crowd (allowing thousands of risk models to compete to identify good loans quickly), P2P lending wouldn’t be where it was today without advances in data and analytics.

In this session, we’ll discuss some of the advances made by P2P players and whether there is anything banks can learn from them – either for their traditional lending businesses, or as they explore their own P2P strategy
