ROUNDTABLES ON APPLICATION MODERNIZATION AND CORE UPGRADES

Many banks are dealing with huge application rationalization, simplification and core upgrades. Updating legacy software that’s in some cases 40 years old to modern, internet-friendly, browser-based software is still a looming challenge for many. For others, harmonizing and synchronizing applications at different levels of maturity so that they all speak to each other and share data in real time is an ongoing battle. Virtualization, cloud computing and outsourcing are components of or add-ons to some of these projects. The ultimate goal: to drive costs out of the organization and be able to profitably offer products and services that can compete with those of the largest banks. Participants will share stories and best practices.
