Developing integrated approaches to providing customer convenience and functionality on mobile devices (payments, loyalty, gifting, and commerce) is rapidly becoming a strategic “must” for banks and retailers alike.

From a bank perspective, enabling mobile banking and payments together with other functionality on mobile devices can provide greater customer convenience, lower cost account access and service, increased transaction activity, incremental revenue opportunities, and  enhanced customer loyalty.  From a retailer perspective, integrated mobile functionality can contribute to overall multi-channel goals by driving incremental sales, reducing operating and customer service costs, enhancing loyalty program effectiveness, and improving gift card redemption rates and distribution costs.  These benefits are available whether customers are using their mobile devices remotely, in-store or at point-of-sale.

Linking integrated mobile initiatives to bottom-line financial results, with the help of a rigorous mobile profitability framework, is also important to overall mobile success.

This panel discussion will include leading retailers as well as financial institutions, who will discuss their perspectives and experiences related to integrated mobile opportunities.
