Meeting the Unmet Payment Needs of Small and Medium Businesses

Through live case studies and an interactive Q&A, this panel discussion will highlight a market opportunity in an underserved segment of the SMB market: businesses with annual revenue between $0.5M and $50M.

These businesses – “tweeners” - are too large to be served by consumer products and often too small to be served by Corporate Treasury Management services.

So what do they really need, and how can you deliver solutions to meet these needs? We will explore this topic and others, such as:

  • Why is online bill pay insufficient?
  • Why does check writing persist (and continue to grow in popularity)?
  • Where does accounting end and payments begin?
  • How important is QuickBooks integration? And Why?
  • Is a business willing to pay for a better solution to address their payments pain? If so, how much? How would they prefer to purchase?
  • How important is security?
  • What role does the bank play in smaller companies’ payment processes?
  • Is it possible to combine simplicity and security in a brand new payments solution that targets this underserved market?

Chrystal Pozin, Managing Director at Treasury Strategies will facilitate the discussion, and panelists include:

  • Megan Minich, Head of Product Development and Strategy at Silicon Valley Bank.
  • Emily Fletcher, Director of Operations & Finance, Open Mile, Inc.
  • Financial professionals at small and medium businesses who will describe their everyday payments needs and challenges

Note: Lunch will be served during the sessions and attendance will be guaranteed to the first 75 registrants. You may register at the conference registration counters.
