Payments Risk Expert, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
Steven Cordray works as a researcher and blogger in the Retail Payments Risk Forum at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. As a researcher, provides balanced, in-depth research and analysis of emerging issues affecting payments risk and fraud mitigation for the payments industry, the regulatory/law enforcement community, and the Federal Reserve System. Currently, Steven is leading the effort in expanding fraud reporting in the Fed’s annual payments studies.
Prior to joining the Risk Forum, he served as a product manager in the development of next generation ACH (Automated Clearing House) products and services. Steven is well known for his recent work in the development of a same-day ACH processing and settlement service that was the first of its kind in the United States. Steven is widely recognized as one of the key industry experts on accelerated clearing and settlement of electronic payments.
