SVP, Strategic Partnerships & Network Relations, BofI Federal Bank
Liz Nutting is SVP of Strategic Partnerships & Network Relations for BofI Federal Bank. She is responsible for BofI’s relationships with its prepaid, debit, and credit card program managers and with Visa, MasterCard, and other payment networks.
Liz has over 14 years of experience in payments. She joined BofI in 2011 to start an issuing sponsorship business for the bank, after helping build the prepaid program for Palm Desert National Bank (PDNB). At PDNB, she was VP of Prepaid Operations and oversaw program implementations and day to day operations for over 20 program managers. She also managed ATM ISO sponsorship. Liz is a frequent speaker on the importance of third party risk management and compliance for non-compliance professionals.
Liz serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the Center for Peace and Commerce, a joint venture between the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies and the School of Business at the University of San Diego. She has a bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and both a Master of Arts in Ethics and Master of Divinity from Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA. She was also a PhD candidate in religious studies and ethics at Temple University in Philadelphia. For 15 years before entering the world of payments, she taught college-level courses in writing, religious studies, and ethics.
