Elizabeth McCourt, JD, MFA, CPCC, ACC is a certified executive coach through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) as well as being certified in the Hogan Leadership Assessment. She works with high level individuals looking for both a practical and holistic approach to advancing their communication and leadership capabilities by harnessing their strengths and identifying their triggers so they can effectively achieve their goals.
Prior to forming McCourt Leadership Group, she was a top ranked executive recruiter in financial services for 16 years, working with Wells Fargo, UBS and Ameriprise, among other clients. For the past 3 years, she’s been invited to the prestigious Recruiter’s Roundtable with On Wall Street magazine. Prior, she was a trial lawyer in New Mexico with a JD from Loyola University and an undergraduate degree in Finance from University of Maryland. Since 2014, she’s presented a case study at the yearly ESMT Coaching Colloquia at ESMT Business School in Berlin, Germany. In 2015, she presented as case study at Harvard University’s Institute of Coaching. In October, 2016, she will be published in the inaugural Philosophy of Coaching: An International Journal, where she is also on the Board. She writes regularly for On Wall Street magazine in addition to publishing elsewhere. As a speaker, Elizabeth has also presented at conferences, the US Army Recruiting Battalion and also gave a TEDx talk entitled, “Why You Should Spill Your Secrets”. Her style is both practical minded and creative, allowing clients to really push their limits to find their most courageous style of both resilience and leadership.
An avid endurance athlete, Elizabeth specializes in long distance triathlons and is a sponsored athlete for Team Betty of Betty Designs. For fun, she loves traveling, surfing, and languages. She lives in Westhampton Beach with her husband and their Portuguese Water Dog Lucy.
