Craig Saperstein is a Counsel in the Public Policy practice of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in Washington, D.C.  In this capacity, he provides legal advice and representation for clients on legislative and regulatory developments.  He also frequently lobbies on behalf of payments companies before Congress and the Executive Branch and coordinates advocacy campaigns on behalf of clients related to state government legislative and administrative activities.  Craig has been recognized as a thought leader with respect to financial services legislation, serving as a longtime member of the Government Relations Advisory Group for NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association and co-authoring a periodic newsletter analyzing developments in financial regulation for several regional payments associations that reaches thousands of financial institutions every month.
